Many extended health plans cover some or all of the cost of physiotherapy treatments, but it depends on the provider and plan. You should contact your benefits provider to find out how much of the treatments they cover. * This is the amount of time you can expect to spend with a physiotherapist one on one. You can expect to spend anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes an appointment. The full appointment time will depend on how much time you will spend receiving modalities and/or doing exercises in addition to your time with the physiotherapist.
**The first assessment is always 60 minutes. The length of the subsequent visits will be confirmed after your initial consultation with the physiotherapist.
